Katie Clark, IBCLC
I know firsthand how difficult breastfeeding can be. While things went fine with my first child, I encountered almost every problem you can imagine with my second – and I fought tooth and nail to make it work. I was fortunate to have a good support network, but I got some pretty terrible advice and had to learn a lot on my own.
This took me on a massive journey which led me to a place where I love helping other moms no matter what type of help they need. I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant so I could help others through the ups and downs of breastfeeding.
I am always learning new techniques and about different topics to better serve more families. I have a passion for oral restrictions, clogged ducts and mastitis, pumping and bottle feeding, and weaning, but I’m equipped to help you with anything you encounter – from first latch to last.
My philosophy is to find a way to make breastfeeding work for you through compassionate and evidence-based care. I am available for virtual consults worldwide and in-office in the Littleton, Colorado area.
I have been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2009. I am also a trained Doula and Childbirth Educator.
My passion for supporting and educating families began when I noticed the difference that support and reliable information made in the period of time before and after the birth of my own children, who are now 21 and 28.
I knew that I wanted to dedicate my career where my heart is and that is in supporting parents in meeting their own goals.
Erin is available virtually worldwide and within one-hour of Statesville, NC.
