Meet…

Katie Clark, IBCLC

I know firsthand how difficult breastfeeding can be. While things went fine with my first child, I encountered almost every problem you can imagine with my second – and I fought tooth and nail to make it work. I was fortunate to have a good support network, but I got some pretty terrible advice and had to learn a lot on my own.

This took me on a massive journey which led me to a place where I love helping other moms no matter what type of help they need. I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant so I could help others through the ups and downs of breastfeeding.

I am always learning new techniques and about different topics to better serve more families. I have a passion for oral restrictions, clogged ducts and mastitis, pumping and bottle feeding, and weaning, but I’m equipped to help you with anything you encounter – from first latch to last.

My philosophy is to find a way to make breastfeeding work for you through compassionate and evidence-based care. I am available for virtual consults worldwide and in-office in the Littleton, Colorado area. Katie is available for in-home visits within 10 minutes of 80123 on a case-by-case basis for infants under 2 weeks.

Meet…

Shelby Powell

Hi, I’m Shelby Powell! I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and have been working with lactating families since 2018 to help them achieve their baby feeding goals.

Breastfeeding my own two children was a natural choice for me, but it did not come naturally! My struggle to breastfeed my children inspired me to become an IBCLC and help other families.

Breastfeeding is natural but it’s also a learned behavior and one that requires support and education. That’s where I come in!

I help families with latch issues, nipple confusion, low milk supply, combo feeding, back-to-work pumping/transition, introduction to solids, weaning, and everything in between. I can’t wait to work with you and your baby!

Shelby is available virtually worldwide and within 30 miles of Colorado Springs.

Meet…

Jennifer Knotwell

My name is Jennifer. I’m a Colorado native, momma to four beautiful kiddos and a self proclaimed mountain girl. I enjoy all things outdoors; from camping, to hiking, to paddle boarding to snowboarding. I grew up in the mountains of Colorado and now that I have kids of my own, grow more and more appreciative of this beautiful state we live in with each year that passes.

After high school, I got a communications degree from the University of Wyoming and then moved to Pittsburgh to experience living somewhere new. After having my twins, we moved back west to be closer to our families and afford our children the same experiences we had growing up. That’s when my love and interest in breastfeeding really took off. I have breastfed all of my children and enjoy helping other women begin and sustain this relationship with their own kiddos.

In 2023 I completed my training to become and IBCLC and cannot wait to help fell mommas and babies find success in their breastfeeding journeys.

Jennifer is available within 20 miles of 80123 and 80465 for no travel fee, and within 60 miles of these areas for a travel fee. She is available virtually worldwide.
