Meet…

Katie Clark, IBCLC

I know firsthand how difficult breastfeeding can be. While things went fine with my first child, I encountered almost every problem you can imagine with my second – and I fought tooth and nail to make it work. I was fortunate to have a good support network, but I got some pretty terrible advice and had to learn a lot on my own.

This took me on a massive journey which led me to a place where I love helping other moms no matter what type of help they need. I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant so I could help others through the ups and downs of breastfeeding.

I am always learning new techniques and about different topics to better serve more families. I have a passion for oral restrictions, clogged ducts and mastitis, pumping and bottle feeding, and weaning, but I’m equipped to help you with anything you encounter – from first latch to last.

My philosophy is to find a way to make breastfeeding work for you through compassionate and evidence-based care. I am available for virtual consults worldwide and in the office in the Littleton, Colorado area. Katie is available for in-home visits within 10 minutes of 80123 for infants two weeks and under.

Julia Knight

Hi, I’m Julia! I graduated from MSU Denver with a Master’s in Human Nutrition & Dietetics and am completing my Master’s Certification in Lactation to become an IBCLC. I have worked at several hospitals, including the Lactation Support Services Department at Children’s Hospital Colorado.

My education and clinical experiences have inspired my passion for supporting families to overcome breastfeeding challenges. My hope is to help mamas and babies at any stage along their breastfeeding journey-from prenatal support to the introduction of solids. I also strongly believe in offering accessible, evidence-based education.

I have a background in nutrition, community gardening, and local food systems. I invest a lot of my love and free time into school-based community gardens to help support local food systems and educate our newest generations on the value of nutritious food. I also have a passion for the outdoors, cooking, and gardening

Meet…

Shelby Powell

Hi, I’m Shelby Powell! I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and have been working with lactating families since 2018 to help them achieve their baby feeding goals.

Breastfeeding my own two children was a natural choice for me, but it did not come naturally! My struggle to breastfeed my children inspired me to become an IBCLC and help other families.

Breastfeeding is natural but it’s also a learned behavior and one that requires support and education. That’s where I come in!

I help families with latch issues, nipple confusion, low milk supply, combo feeding, back-to-work pumping/transition, introduction to solids, weaning, and everything in between. I can’t wait to work with you and your baby!
